About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive WordPress Developer to join our talented team at Herinext India. The ideal candidate will have over four years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, including custom plugin development, theme customization, and troubleshooting. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple projects efficiently, and deliver high-quality solutions that align with client requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative WordPress websites, optimizing performance, ensuring responsive design, and integrating third-party tools and plugins. As part of our team, you will contribute to the ongoing growth of our digital offerings and help maintain our reputation for technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites and applications
• Create and customize themes and plugins to meet client specifications
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness
• Work closely with the design and content teams to implement UX/UI best practices and ensure seamless user experiences across devices
• Evaluate and integrate third-party plugins and tools, ensuring compatibility and security
• Participate in code reviews and maintain detailed documentation
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress developments and industry trends
• Work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and proactively suggest improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in WordPress and PHP development
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg
• Advanced knowledge of ACF, WooCommerce, and third-party plugin integration
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and others is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and collaboration
