Wordpress Developer - Orlando, FL

About the role

We're looking for a Digital Designer who takes ownership of design problems, not just design tasks. You'll drive the design process from research to developer handoff, working closely with our team to understand what the client needs, land on the right approach, and deliver work that developers can build from without guessing.

Responsibilities

• Designing responsive websites and eCommerce experiences for our agency clients
• Taking on UI design for web applications when those projects come through
• Designing from wireframes through to high-fidelity, developer-ready mockups
• Creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries
• Collaborating with the team to solve design problems
• Working across multiple client projects simultaneously at agency pace

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment
• Expert-level Figma skills (components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, design tokens)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design (not just mobile apps)
• Understanding of responsive design patterns and how layouts translate to code
• Excellent typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries
• Understanding of eCommerce UX patterns (product pages, checkout flows, navigation)
• Strong communication skills (you can explain design decisions clearly)
• A portfolio with live websites that were built from your designs

Preferred Experience

• Designing for WordPress and Shopify platforms
• Experience with HTML/CSS (not required, but helpful)
• Experience with user research and usability testing
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Motion design / micro-interaction design skills
