Responsibilities
- WordPress multisite architecture and operations
- Enterprise security vulnerability management
- Plugin lifecycle management governance
- Primary technical ownership not execution only support
- Experience with AI assisted development tools eg Claude Copilot
- Ability to work alongside existing developers as needed
Requirements
- 9+ years of Web development with advanced coding skills in WordPress and in programming languages including PHP, HTML/CSS.
- Must have: Plain JS, WordPress, Webpack, NPM, composer, Phpunit, PHPCS
- Nice to Have: VueJS, React, Backbone, Docker
- Experience with object-oriented design and data modeling.
- Experience managing source control via GIT, SVN or other source code management system.
- Experience managing WordPress application deployments between server environments (Dev, QA, Stage, Production)
- Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Experience in web application security considerations and best practices
