WordPress Designer/Developer

About the role

The ideal candidate is someone who is a strategic website professional who can bridge both design and development. You've successfully redesigned websites with complex content structures, enjoy creating intuitive user experiences, and are comfortable building modern WordPress sites from planning through launch.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve existing website architecture
• Create wireframes and page layouts
• Build and launch a modern WordPress website
• Configure and customize CMS functionality
• Develop responsive, mobile-friendly experiences
• Implement best practices for UX, accessibility, and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Support testing, QA, and launch activities
• Organize and migrate existing content into the new site structure

Requirements

• 5+ years of website design and development experience
• Strong WordPress design and development expertise
• Experience creating wireframes, sitemaps, and user journeys
• Proficiency in responsive web design principles
• Experience managing website redesign projects from concept through launch
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams
• Strong portfolio showcasing both website design and development work

Qualifications

• Experience with Webflow
• Background working with manufacturing, industrial, B2B, or technical organizations
• Familiarity with photography and video-forward website experiences
• Experience improving information architecture and content organization for large websites
