WOODWORKER / FABRICATOR
We’re a specialty architectural millwork shop in Brooklyn looking for a mechanically inclined woodworker/fabricator to join our small workshop team. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of relevant woodworking experience and an eye for detail.
About the role
This is not a trainee position; we seek someone already competent and skilled in the woodworking craft. You’ll work on high-quality, custom architectural projects throughout New York City as part of a team known for its skill, care, and integrity. Your contributions will have a direct and visible impact in our small shop, with opportunities to grow as the business expands.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on woodworking and fabrication
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Read and work accurately from technical shop drawings
- Follow established fabrication processes consistently
- Learn and retain new processes, applying them correctly
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a small team
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on woodworking, fabrication, or relevant technical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Benefits
- 4-day workweek (Mon–Thu, 8am–6pm; after a 30-day paid trial period of part-time hours: 12pm–6pm, Mon–Thu)

Pay
$30 – $35/hr, based on production capabilities and training investment required for independent work.
