Woodworker

Position Summary

Marucci Sports is seeking a woodworker to join their team. The Woodworker will be responsible for sanding, prepping, and cupping baseball bats according to company standards. This role involves operating various machines and equipment involved in the production process.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for sanding, prepping, boning, cupping, and other tasks.
• Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications.
• Assigned machines may include a chop saw, hobby lathe, drum sander, and similar equipment.
• Produces the required quantity of bats within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished bats with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains proper storage for material and product inventory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.
