Woodwind instructor needed in Glen Allen, VA

Job Description

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Woodwind. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Glen Allen, VA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach woodwind instruments to students in their homes, your home, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
• Experience with remote teaching if preferred.

Benefits

• Independent contractor pay between $20-$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• No advertising, marketing, or SEO work required.
• All billing handled by Taylor Robinson Music.

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
