Woodford Reserve Processing Operator 2nd Shift
About the Role
Support the Woodford Reserve 2nd Shift Processing operations (Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) including barrel handling, liquid processing, inventory management, and personal selection activities. Must be flexible to support overtime, vacation coverage, and off-shift assignments in a multi-shift operation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor available bottling tanks and partner with the Operations Manager and Lead Processing/Regauge Operator to coordinate liquid transfers.
- Load and unload tankers to support bottling operations and off-site bottling schedules.
- Perform batching, analytical, and proofing tests on finished whiskey and processing tanks, ensuring quality standards are met and results are accurately documented.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to determine barrel dump quantities and timing to support formulation requirements, bulk tanks, processing tanks, and tanker operations.
- Support barrel handling activities, including warehouse movements, truck unloading, stacking barrels, and dumping operations.
- Collect and document liquid and barrel samples as required by process standards.
- Maintain accurate records of liquid movements, quality testing, and inventory transactions through Regauge Sheets, Salesforce, and other designated systems.
- Accurately record downtime events in TrackSYS.
- Provide processing support across both T1 and T2 operations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma.
- Proficient at performing simple mathematical calculations (add, multiply, subtract, etc.).
- Proficient technology skills.
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Able to push and pull at least 100 pounds.
- Able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach upward/downward, crouch, ascend/descend stairs/ramps/ladders, and enter tight/restricted areas on a daily basis.
- Able to work under varied environmental conditions, including cold and heat.
Qualifications
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft platforms.
- Previous experience in distilled spirits industry and/or laboratory environment.
- Previous forklift experience.
