Summary of Responsibilities
- Disciple the female population of the student body
- Ensure that each female receives a one-on-one pastoral counseling session each year
- Work more intensively with students going through sin issues or mental health crises
- Develop students in leadership, resilience, and spiritual maturity through small groups, pastoral counseling, and services
- Engage in the Judicial Process
- Support the Men’s Minister with understanding and updating the Judicial Process in the Student Handbook and Academic Catalog as needed
- Investigate student breaches of the Highlands College Community Covenant
- Create and enforce Discipleship Agreements
- Maintain proficiency and understanding of Title IX requirements
- Collaborate with the Care Team
- Meet weekly with the Care Team to ensure that students are cared for and followed through with
- Work collaboratively with the Men’s Minister and Director of Student Care in investigation processes
- Work with the Care Team in updating all sections of the Student Handbook
- Participate in ministry at Church of the Highlands and Highlands College by leading small groups
- Participate and lead at Saturate every year
- Participate and lead at all Women’s Chapels
- Participate and lead during Welcome Week and Family Night
- Collaborate with the Character Formation Pillar
Other Duties
- Participate in ministry at Church of the Highlands and Highlands College by leading small groups
- Affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith and the Core Values and DNA of the College, exemplifying all by word and lifestyle
Leadership Requirements
- Provide leadership to and function as a direct report to Vice President of Spiritual Development
- Lead and develop teams to effectively reach set goals
- Oversee students, staff, and interns occasionally
- Covers accurate information effectively using the most appropriate methods to reflect the needs of the audience and ensure mutual understanding
- Sets clear and challenging objectives, inspiring and encouraging high performance in teams and students

- Knowledge: Understand how to report and create reports through Monday.com and M365 products; Know how to create outcome-based discipleship programs for students
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred; Credentials in counseling or discipleship preferred but not required
- Experience: 3 years of experience working directly with college-aged students, preferably in a pastoral role

- Physical Demands: Moderate exposure to physical risk; Good physical condition is required; Ability to drive between campuses; Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance; Ability to stand for long periods of time
