Women's Imaging Supervisor - Harbour View Medical Center

About the Role

The Supervisor of Imaging manages and coordinates the daily operations of all assigned areas while overseeing imaging services to optimize the experience. This role ensures a productive work environment by meeting all professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards. The Supervisor collaborates with imaging personnel, interdisciplinary departments, facility leadership, the Manager of Imaging, Director of Imaging, and Medical Director of Imaging to ensure exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Provides an environment of open communication and support among all team members.
• Creates an inclusive culture of learning and supports the growth of associates.
• Monitors associate behaviors and goals to ensure alignment with Key Performance Metrics and takes corrective action or action plans when warranted.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards in alignment with the Joint Commission, ACR, State Department of Health, and NCR.
• Promotes and initiates performance improvement activities.
• Manages patient flow and technologist hours to maintain the needs of quality radiology services.
• Plans and conducts regular and specialized in-service training programs.
• Recommends the number of staff members needed and ensures staff members are qualified.
• Recommends department operating and capital budgets while implementing cost-effective measures.

Requirements

• Associate’s in Applied Science of Radiography (required).
• Certification and Registration with one of the following:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required).
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed).
• 2 years of experience in a clinical environment (required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Imaging Technologies experience.
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience.

Pay

Minimum: $42.51 per hour
Maximum: $68.00 per hour
