Women's Health- Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

About the Role

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral and standards of treatment, this position performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of physical therapist assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments of adult and geriatric patients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive individualized treatment programs.
• Provide direct supervision to patients.
• Provide indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants in compliance with State Practice Acts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current or temporary license in Physical Therapy for the state of practice.
• BLS certification (must be current before independently caring for patients).

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist roles.
• Experience in caring for adult and geriatric patients is preferred.

Skills

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
