Our maternity center has been recognized for supporting multiple birthing options and working with families to accommodate birth plans.

Responsibilities

• Practice Information: Established practice with 14 Physicians and 12 Advanced Practice Providers, 200 monthly deliveries at Atrium Health Pineville, Located in South Charlotte Ballantyne area.
• Hospitalist CNM or Nocturnist CNM: 2 CNMs and MD always on call.

Requirements

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC/SC.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified.
• Minimum 1 year as a CNM or 5 years’ experience in labor and delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
• 5 years’ experience in labor and delivery.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with patient-centered care.

Pay

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job. Incentive pay for select positions. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.

Schedule

Flexibility for candidates interested in either a rotating day/night shifts or nocturnist schedule. Rotating shifts include 7a-7pm, 7p-7a, and 7a-7a. Nocturnist shifts include 3-4 nights per week 7p-7a (inclusive of weekends).
