About the role

The Practice Manager is a servant leader that ensures the operational execution of practice team members meets the needs of the clinical team. This position provides tactical leadership, council, and direction to the hourly team members within his/her assigned practice(s).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of TWH.
  • Provides recruitment, hiring, promotion, retention, staff training and continuing education, performance development, performance management, salary adjustments, teammate relations, disciplinary action and termination of direct reports.
  • Champions TWH’s organizational initiatives.
  • Creates channels of communication within the practice such as daily huddles, monthly team member meetings, updating Simpler website, 11 coaching sessions and facilitating townhall sessions.
  • Develops and fosters a positive and fulfilling work environment with all levels of leadership, within his/her peer group; work collaboratively with field leadership, physicians, and all clinical/non-clinical hourly team members.
  • Create practice level operational and business plans that support the stability and growth of the practice’s financial performance alongside the Practice Medical Director and in partnership with the field leadership team.
  • Ensures all team members strive for a best-in-class patient experience every patient, every time.
  • Maintains and monitors Google and Podium reviews and takes swift action to resolve any patient issues that arise in the practice alongside the clinical leadership team.
  • Collaborates with the following TWH Leadership Teams: Revenue Cycle and Credentialing, Accounts Payable, Finance, IT, Operations, Human Resources, Compliance.
  • Acts as an ambassador for TWH’s brand in connection with all medical and non-medical standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Concierge medical experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years in healthcare leadership preferred.
  • Clinical background in healthcare highly desired.

Qualifications

  • Superior patient care service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop strong and supportive working relationships with a wide variety of people and backgrounds.
  • Experience and confidence in leading a team of 10-20.
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills; ability to present concisely and with detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in communicating key data.
  • Understanding of business functions, ability to read, interpret and take action on profit/loss data, understanding of how to create a basic business action plan to impact results.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Skills

  • High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Healthcare operations experience highly preferred.
