Responsibilities
- Create illustrator sketches based on allotted assortment per season
- Prepare complete tech packs across all product categories, in sketch, construction and upload onto development platform with complete BOMs
- Responsible for supporting design director in execution of women’s product from sketch to tech-pack through development into bulk production
- Process/correspondence production comments through illustrator, PLM platform and email
- Attend bi-weekly fittings and taking notes, and following up with production matters, and processing comments per style
- Routinely update all master files, sketches and organize shared drives
- Capable of managing weekly design presentation tools across designated product categories
- Knowledgeable and proficient in email etiquette for internal and external emails to suppliers overseas
- Highest level of organization and meets given deadlines
- Capable of maintaining positive and professional working relationships with cross functional team members and departments
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in apparel design, womenswear specific is a plus
- Cut & sew knits and knitwear product category knowledge and construction knowledge is a must
- Active product category knowledge and construction in base layer tops, bottoms, 1 pc dressing, and mid layer
- Experience and proficiency in executing production comments
- Experience and proficiency in executing tech packs across multiple collections in both development and production on the day to to day

- Highly knowledgeable of construction and experienced in the following product categories: cut & sew tops, fleece tops and bottoms. Highly knowledgeable in building knitwear through a clear understanding of gg, tension, ends, etc.
- Highly knowledgeable of construction and experienced in active: tops, bottoms, and 1 pc dressing
- Strong computer sketching skills in illustrator
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to handle multiple priorities
- Possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Must be flexible to adapt to these changing business needs or special projects
- Possess discretion and maintain confidentiality where appropriate
