About the role

The Research Group for Numerical Structural Analysis at Technische Universität Hamburg is seeking a Research Associate to contribute to cutting-edge research in structural analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on advanced numerical methods for structural analysis
  • Collaborate with other researchers and students on interdisciplinary projects
  • Write technical reports and papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Present findings at international conferences

Requirements

  • A PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience with finite element methods and computational mechanics
  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or similar languages
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to conduct independent research
  • Interest in interdisciplinary work between engineering and mathematics
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
