Wiring Technician III

About the role

Under general direction, works in a variety of manufacturing jobs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret more complex basic wiring diagrams, pictorials, wiring schematics, written and verbal instructions to assemble electrical components and units in a production environment.
• Place components in electric box or unit in accordance with provided documentation.
• Reconcile pick list to work order and kit parts.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and components.
• Expert understanding of wire gauges, electrical connectors, terminals, tape measure, squares, hand tools and electrical tools.
• Ability to frequently move and position equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to consistently remain in a stationary position.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $24.40– $26.35/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
