Wiring Technician (CEB) - 1st shift

This position supports manufacturing operations through electrical wiring, assembly, and quality assurance of control enclosures and panels.
Responsibilities
- Perform point-to-point wiring of control enclosures, panels, and backplanes according to schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables while ensuring proper labeling and identification.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials to accurately complete assemblies.
- Inspect completed work to verify proper connections, wire routing, and compliance with quality and workmanship standards.
- Perform continuity checks and basic functional testing; identify and correct wiring issues or discrepancies.
- Gather required materials, components, and tools; ensure correct parts are used for each build.
- Complete production documentation, checklists, and quality records accurately and on time.
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in electrical wiring, panel building, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and work instructions.
Physical & Environmental Demands
- Standing for extended periods, repetitive hand movements, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Working in a manufacturing or production environment with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and electrical components.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
