Wiring Assembler - Systems

Position Summary

Aerotech, Inc. is seeking a skilled Wiring Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll build and wire precision electromechanical assemblies, fabricate wire harnesses and cable assemblies, and ensure products meet our quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience with soldering, interpreting wiring and assembly drawings, and using hand tools and electrical test equipment in a manufacturing environment.

What will your day look like?

As a Wiring Assembler at Aerotech, you will:

• Assembles cables and cable harnesses using hand tools, power tools, and soldering
• Reads wiring and assembly drawings
• Routes and attaches wires and connectors to electronic circuitry and/or subassemblies
• Utilizes test equipment to test for conformance
• Wires system level motors and stages
• Wire multi-axis assemblies

Required Experience

• Prior experience with soldering
• Ability to read and interpret wiring or assembly drawings
• Experience with hand tools and crimpers
• Experience assembling raw wires into completed wire harnesses or cable assemblies
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with IPC-620 soldering standards
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally involving precision technology or electromechanical systems
• Basic computer literacy, including ERP software experience
• At least 1 year of directly related experience, education, or training
