About the role
Cable & Wire Assemblers play a critical role in bringing WET (Design)'s iconic installations to life. They assemble cables, wire harnesses, and electrical components for large-scale water features and architectural installations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble cables, wire harnesses, and electrical components following work instructions, diagrams, and schematics
- Perform basic assembly tasks including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires (soldering experience is a plus, but can be learned)
- Inspect assemblies for quality and functionality, ensuring all work meets WET standards
- Work closely with production leads, engineers, and team members to troubleshoot and improve builds
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Support additional production tasks as needed—flexibility is key in a dynamic environment
- Work extended shifts (10–11 hours) and overtime/weekends as project demands require
Requirements
- Experience in cable assembly, electrical assembly, or a related hands-on role OR foundational mechanical/electrical skills with a strong willingness to learn
- Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, or basic schematics
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a solid work ethic
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to be trained and grow your technical skillset
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Prior experience with wire harnessing, crimping tools, or soldering
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or similar industries
- Familiarity with IPC standards or electrical assembly best practices
