Key Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and maintain wireless access points, SSIDs, and related network equipment.
- Perform day-to-day administration of wireless networks using Cisco Meraki and other cloud-managed networking platforms.
- Maintain accurate documentation of wireless configurations, inventory, and network diagrams.
- Support incident, request, problem, and change management processes.
- Provide technical support during planned maintenance windows and service upgrades.
- Participate in on-call rotation activities as assigned.
- Collaborate with Network Engineering, Security, Service Desk, and Infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for formal education.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience supporting enterprise networking or wireless infrastructure.
- Experience: Experience working with Cisco Meraki, Cisco Wireless, Aruba, or similar wireless technologies preferred.
- Experience: Experience supporting end-user connectivity and network-related incidents.
Core Competencies
- Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, wireless networking, and basic routing concepts.
- Wireless Technologies: Experience configuring and supporting wireless access points and cloud-managed wireless platforms.
- Wireless Security: Understanding of wireless security concepts including WPA2/WPA3 and guest access configurations.
- Documentation & Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
