Wireless Communications and Networking Specialist
As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to conducting cutting edge foundational research and development specializing in networking and sensing for Army applications.
About the role
In this role, you will support a team dedicated to advancing self-managing, resilient, and intelligent wireless networks. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts across physical layer technologies, network optimization, signal processing, applied machine learning, and wireless communications experimentation. You will have access to state-of-the-art experimental facilities and high-performance computing platforms to efficiently execute research and development tasks.
Requirements
- Experience with AI/ML for wireless networks
- Experience with ad hoc heterogeneous networks
- Experience with physical layer security
- Experience with adversarial ML in wireless networks
- Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computational Sciences
Nice to have
- Experience with reconfigurable intelligent surfaces
- Experience with EM signature management and cross-layer optimization
- Experience with wireless network modeling and simulation
- Experience with testbed development and experimentation

Pay
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
