Overview
As a Wire Transfer Supervisor you will lead a team to ensure all Domestic, International and Treasury Management wires are processed accurately and timely. Your responsibilities include managing workflow, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee all functions and workflows within the Wire Department
- Perform annual reviews with employees for effective talent management and succession planning
- Motivate and coach personnel to meet or exceed operational and productivity standards
- Maintain a good working relationship with all teams, both internal and external customers
- Create and maintain clear and precise departmental procedures for Domestic and International Wire Transfers
- Ensure all wire transfer GL accounts are balanced and reconciled daily
- Monitor Wells Fargo Foreign Exchange and USD Pass through accounts for outages
- Serve as an admin for the Wells Fargo account
- Monitor Consumer Investigation log to ensure open items are resolved within regulatory timeframes
- Monitor Wire Recall case workflow to ensure completion
- Build and customize wire reporting based on user requests
- Test and approve changes/upgrades to the Wire Transfer system configuration
- Conduct annual failover/disaster recovery testing for the wire transfer system
- Troubleshoot Wire system errors and collaborate with vendors/admins/technology groups to resolve issues
- Assist with the merger and acquisition process of new banks as it relates to Wire Transfers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree desired, but not required
- 3-6 years' work experience in wire transfers or bank operations preferred
- Excellent understanding of Federal and State banking regulations and UCB's Wire Transfer Policy & Procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment, multi-task, and prioritize
- Positive attitude and excellent leadership skills to lead a diverse team
- Collaborative team player with sound judgment to determine risk vs. service
- Strong organizational, communication, and management skills
- Strong analytical and data-gathering skills with excellent attention to detail

- This is a full-time, non-remote position requiring up to 5% travel
