Winter 26/27: Terrain Park Hand Crew Level 1-3

About the role

This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Responsibilities

• Works primarily under the supervision of the Terrain Park Manager, Hand Crew Supervisor, and Hand Crew Leads.
• Performs a variety of tasks in a utility role, rotating through assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintains terrain features in the terrain parks and other designated areas on a scheduled cycle.
• Serves as a guest-facing representative, promoting safety awareness, freestyle terrain etiquette, crowd supervision, and positive guest relations.
• Supports the daily operations and maintenance of Woodward Copper’s Terrain Parks while taking on additional leadership responsibilities.
• Aids in feature builds and repairs, mentors first-year crew members, and ensures all park features meet safety and quality standards.
• Assists with feature construction and installation, leads small builds and maintenance projects, and mentors Levels 1 and 2 crew members.
• Demonstrates advanced terrain park skills, proactive communication, and professionalism, ensuring the parks remain safe, high quality, and aligned with Woodward Copper’s standards for guest experience and freestyle terrain excellence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a cold alpine environment on uneven terrain for long periods of time.
• Must have a valid US Driver’s license.
• Must be able to communicate with immediate supervisor—oral and written.
• Must be able to follow all policies as described in the employee handbook.
• Must be able to ski/ride with tools or equipment.
• Required to use hand tools such as rakes, shovels, drills, etc.
• Must be able to be to work on-time.
