Role Overview

This position oversees daily department operations within a retail store, ensuring adherence to company standards, meeting performance goals, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Order, manage, and control inventory to ensure product freshness and quality.
• Verify received orders for accuracy and proper storage.
• Coordinate with vendors for stocking, production, and quality assurance, handling damaged or spoiled products per guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge, including promotional sales, pricing, and store programs.
• Execute weekly plans, manage scheduling, and support department goals and forecasts.
• Assist in staffing, training, performance management, and associate development.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked department aligned with safety and food safety standards.
• Follow safety, PPE, food safety, and guest experience protocols; implement corrective actions when needed.
• Support cross-department tasks based on customer needs and contribute to overall store success.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of suggestive selling and product lines is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied environments.
• Travel may be required.
