Beer & Wine Steward

About the role

Our Beverage Departments feature beer, wine and coffee selections from around the world and our local neighborhoods allowing us to provide an exceptional assortment of options to our customers! We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate teammate to join our Beverage team. Prepare for a high-energy, team-oriented environment where you will accurately prepare customer orders in a prompt and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in selection and recommendations
• Helping with quarterly inventory and meeting sales goals
• Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of beer, wine, and coffee
• Organizing, stocking and facing Beverage Department
• Checking in deliveries/logging of all invoices daily
• General cleaning and maintenance of sales area, floor, spot mop, shelving, grinders, bins, signs and coolers

Qualifications

• Experience with and knowledge of beer and wine
• Open availability including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Ordering and merchandising experience are a plus

Pay

This position starts at $19.00/hour – $21.00/hour depending on experience with growth opportunity up to $24.00/hour.
