Wine and Restaurant Manager

About the role

The ideal candidate will be a successful Wine and Restaurant Manager at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of polished casual or fine dining experience, 3 years of prior salaried management experience, and 2 years of managing a wine and beverage program in high volume environments. Strong wine and beverage training experience, including Level I sommelier certification, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality employee standards by maintaining a fully staffed restaurant department, fostering an inclusive environment, developing department associates, and holding the team accountable in a constructive and supportive way.
• Implement effective security protocols to ensure the ongoing safety of both employees and guests.
• Create memorable experiences for guests by authentically connecting with them and participating in community outreach activities and events.
• Be the subject matter expert of wine and beverages for guests, driving restaurant results through management of the beverage departments' P&L, developing initiatives to build sales, increase profitability, and grow the guest count.
• Ensure all menu items are made according to recipe and maintain high standards of presentation.
• Enforce safety and sanitation practices by showcasing a passion for excellence and maintaining immaculate facilities.
• Leverage Principles & Beliefs to foster a passionate culture of having fun and supporting people in living full, balanced lives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of polished casual or fine dining experience
• Minimum of 3 years prior salaried management experience
• Minimum of 2 years of managing a wine and beverage program in high volume environment
• Strong wine and beverage training experience, including Level I sommelier certification (preferred)
• Flexible availability
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• At least 21 years of age
• Basic computer proficiency (preferred)
