Winds Host/ Busser Part-Time Evenings $16 - $24/hr.

Responsibilities

• Handle Guest check transactions, food running, bussing, and host interactions.
• Adhere to Grand Casino’s service and cash handling standards.
• Receive payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Prepare orders in a timely manner and complete them with garnish and accompaniments.
• Answer Guest questions and direct concerns to appropriate management.
• Address Guest complaints and resolve them quickly and courteously.
• Seat Guests according to established procedures of the venue.
• Deliver excellent Guest Service in an upbeat, friendly manner.
• Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all Associates.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area in full accordance with state health regulations.
• Maintain stock of all necessary items.
• Participate in initial cordial reception and prompt courteous escort to a dining table.
• Communicate with Guests regarding waiting times, reservations, and venue information.
• Operate Host seating computer system, distribute menus, and explain food items.
• Assist in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
• Participate in cleaning and sanitizing tables and dining room upon Guest departure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Comply with all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).

Qualifications

• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
