The Systems Administrator must be highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with strong attention to detail. This position requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude, and the Systems Administrator will be onsite a minimum of two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the design, planning, execution, and installation of the current infrastructure to support new applications and technologies.
- Support software and hardware upgrades and maintenance of Windows servers, operating systems, infrastructure systems, and applications.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with server and system administration technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
- Experience with standard industry practices including management of Windows Server systems.
- Nice to have: PowerShell, ITIL certification, experience supporting M365 and SharePoint, Administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Administration of Microsoft .NET web applications.
