Windows Systems Administrator
About the role
The FIS CardPro LAN team is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, motivated, dedicated, and hardworking Systems Administrator at their Romeoville, IL facility at 1165 Arbor Drive. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the 2026 and beyond mission of FIS CardPro.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and monitoring PCI-compliant business solutions in a Windows 11 / Windows Server 2019 - 2022 environment, including after-hours on-call support
- Upgrading and patching Windows 10 / 11 workstations
- Scheduling and implementing system changes in collaboration with FIS and CardPro change management
- Remediating software and hardware vulnerabilities in accordance with FIS security standards
- Coordinating with FIS network and firewall teams to implement changes and resolve issues
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience supporting a multi-site Windows environment
- Microsoft MTA certification (networking, security, OS / server fundamentals)
- At least 3 years’ experience supporting a LAN / WAN environment and working with network and firewall teams
- The desire to pursue continued training and certification
- Perseverance, dedication, and a desire to succeed in a challenging environment
Qualifications
- Microsoft Windows server / workstation certification
- CompTia certification
- Network + or Security + certification
