About the role

The Boeing Company’s Specialized Infrastructure Operations Organization is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the team in Berkeley, MO. This position will install, operate, secure, and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure required to deliver products to our customers. As a Systems Administrator, your expertise will integrate logistics, manufacturing, and engineering into a cohesive ecosystem. You will support Air Dominance (AD) programs with enterprise capabilities within closed networks, including standard office functions, application development stacks, engineering workflows, and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and support a broad range of basic systems and application support activities
• Provide support for Windows Operating Systems (OS)
• Provide basic network support
• Support VMware ESX environments
• Provide operations support for both servers and desktop systems
• Analyze computing requirements
• Install, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software, and components
• Ensure computing inventory tracking and shipping
• Document and implement computer applications
• Provide restoration of basic computing service operation
• Support activities to ensure security of information and systems
• Provide comprehensive computing support in closed environments
• Protect classified and proprietary information
• Support security audits as assigned
• Maintain knowledge of various government and corporate security plans

Requirements

• Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
• Active Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of start date
• 1+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Server (2016 or later) and Windows desktop OS (Windows 10 or later)
• 1+ years of experience in performing hardware installation, modification, and testing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing Windows Systems
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems
• Experience with maintaining/configuring Active Directory (AD), including applying domain group policies
• Experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
• Experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
• Experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution
• Experience integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems

Pay

• Associate: $78,200 – $105,800
• Mid-Level: $96,050 – $129,950

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Schedule

This position is for 1st shift.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility and requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
