Window Treatment Installer

About The Role

At The Shade Store, we are seeking friendly, passionate individuals to join our team as Window Treatment Installers. This position offers competitive wages, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a personal company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home measurements and installations of custom window treatment product lines, including roller/solar shades, Roman shades, and drapery, as well as wooden blinds and more.
• Learn and apply motorization installation and programming techniques, particularly with complex motorized products.
• Provide customers with a world-class experience during each measure and install appointment.
• Develop and implement effective solutions to challenges and obstacles related to window treatment installation.
• Communicate and collaborate with local Design Consultants and Headquarters Measure & Install support teams.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in every appointment through the use of The Shade Store's Measure + Install techniques and software systems.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in carpentry, custom installation, or a transferable skilled trade.
• Significant experience with hand and power tools, including power drill, impact driver, and level.
• Proven ability to measure within 1/8" using manual and laser measurers.
• Significant customer service and in-home service experience.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a high level of integrity.
• A strong understanding of basic to advanced technology with computers, mobile devices, and tablets.
• Active driver’s license and insurability.
• Able to lift a minimum of 55 pounds and climb up to 26' in height.

Pay

$28.00 - $30.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus eligibility for monthly individual incentives.

Schedule

Full-Time hours with potential for overtime available.
