Window Treatment Installer

About The Role

At The Shade Store, we are seeking a friendly and passionate Window Treatment Installer to join our team. This position involves performing in-home measurements and installations of custom window treatment product lines, primarily roller/solar shades, Roman shades, and drapery, as well as wooden blinds and more.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform in-home measurements and installations of custom window treatment product lines
• Learn and provide motorization installation and programming techniques for complex motorized products
• Provide customers with a world-class experience during each measure and install appointment
• Become skilled at using The Shade Store's Measure + Install techniques and software systems
• Communicate and partner regularly with the Headquarters Measure & Install support teams
• Develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles related to window treatment installation

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent
• Experience in carpentry, custom installation, or a transferable skilled trade
• Significant experience with hand and power tools, including drill, impact driver, and level
• Proven ability to accurately measure within 1/8" using manual and laser measurers
• Significant customer service and in-home service experience
• Strong spoken and written communications skills
• Punctual, reliable, and possesses a high level of integrity
• Strong understanding of basic to advanced technology with computers, mobile devices, and tablets
• Active driver’s license and insurable
• Able to lift a minimum of 55 pounds and climb up to 26' in height
