Lindus Construction is seeking a Window Installation Technician to join our family-owned company. This role involves installing new windows, doors, frames, trim, and hardware according to company procedures, as well as removing old windows and doors and repairing damaged framing, siding, or drywall as needed.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Installation of all new windows, doors, frames, trim and hardware according to company-wide procedures and practices
• Removal of all old windows and doors and repair or replace necessary rotten or damaged framing, siding, drywall or any adjoining materials and dispose of properly
• Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard requiring material to be shaped or cut to specified measurements
• Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as ensuring the company-provided vehicle and tools/equipment are well-maintained
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in window, framing and/or finish trade
• Valid state issued driver's license and good driving record

Physical Requirements

• Physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving of your whole body to handle, install, position, manipulate material and erect scaffolding (80% physical labor/20% driving and sitting)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to safely, legally and consistently operate an automobile for traveling

Pay & Schedule

• Potential Earnings: $50,000–$75,000 (piece work rate)
• Full-time/Non-exempt
• Compensation is commissioned based; designed to reward performance, earning potential can significantly exceed a traditional hourly position
• Pay: $24.00 – $36.00 per hour

Location & Travel

Department: Windows & Doors. Location: Baldwin, WI. While the corporate office is based in WI, the majority of the work will take place in MN. Regular daily travel to the WI office is not required, but periodic travel to the corporate office will be necessary for meetings, training, or other business needs.
