Window & Door Repair Technician
About the role
JELD-WEN is seeking a Window & Door Repair Technician to join their growing team. The role requires field service work on various JELD-WEN window and door products, accurate inspection of products to find service issues, and adherence to JELD-WEN policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Learn and perform service work on various JELD-WEN window and door products
- Accurately inspect products to identify root causes of service issues
- Complete daily warranty field service tasks, taking quality photos and reporting issues
- Maintain tools and service vehicles in proper working order
- Operate company service vehicles safely and efficiently
- Become familiar with JELD-WEN products in the coverage region
- Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely and professionally
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Weekly travel with some overnight stays and over-time required
- Flexible working hours are expected
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a similar environment preferred
- High School Diploma or HSED
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of window and door installation and repair practices
- Strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities
- Dependable, self-motivated, able to problem-solve, and contribute positively to a team environment
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Climb, lift, pull, and safely perform tasks on ladders, scaffolding, or other raised devices

Schedule
