Responsibilities

No two days are ever the same! As a Child Care Worker, you'll help create memorable experiences for elementary-age children before and after school. You'll:

  • Build positive relationships with children and families.
  • Lead games, crafts, STEM activities, sports, and enrichment experiences.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play.
  • Encourage teamwork, kindness, creativity, and problem-solving.
  • Help with snack and daily routines.
  • Ensure children are safe while having fun.
  • Assist with check-in and dismissal.
  • Be a positive role model every day.

Some days you'll referee a kickball game. Some days you'll build the tallest LEGO tower. Some days you'll simply be the caring adult a child needed that day. Every day matters!

Requirements

We're looking for people who enjoy working with children and creating positive experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Paid or volunteer experience working with children.
  • Ability to actively supervise and engage with elementary-age students in a fast-paced environment.
