About the role
The Wildlife Technician position involves conducting field surveys, monitoring wildlife populations, and implementing conservation projects. This role requires a strong background in ecology and biology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys to assess wildlife habitats and populations
- Implement conservation projects to protect endangered species
- Monitor wildlife populations and report findings to the supervisor
- Collaborate with other conservation professionals to develop and implement conservation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in wildlife management or conservation
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
