Wildlife Technician

About the role

The Wildlife Technician position involves conducting field surveys, monitoring wildlife populations, and implementing conservation projects. This role requires a strong background in ecology and biology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys to assess wildlife habitats and populations
• Implement conservation projects to protect endangered species
• Monitor wildlife populations and report findings to the supervisor
• Collaborate with other conservation professionals to develop and implement conservation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in wildlife management or conservation
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
