About the role
The WIC Supervisor (Nutritionist III) plays a pivotal part in advancing community health through the effective administration and oversight of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement WIC program policies and procedures.
- Oversee the distribution of WIC benefits and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide nutritional counseling and education to participants.
- Manage a team of WIC staff and volunteers.
- Conduct outreach activities to promote WIC services.
- Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate WIC services into broader health initiatives.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Master’s degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Nutrition from an accredited college or university.
- One year of experience or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the minimum requirements.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.

Pay
The starting salary will be determined with consideration given to both the candidate's educational background and relevant work experience.
Schedule
This is an exempt position working 37.5 hours weekly/1950 hours annually.
