Full‑time Registered Dietitian/Licensed Dietitian position serving the Local Agency 131 county area, based in Lampasas, TX. The role involves counseling high‑risk clients, implementing nutrition education procedures, working with a multicultural population, and requiring travel with overnight stays and extended drives.

Responsibilities

• Counsel high‑risk clients as determined by State Agency (SA) and Local Agency (LA) parameters.
• Implement procedures to ensure high‑risk clients receive needed education/counseling at all LA sites.
• Travel throughout the LA 131 county area, including several overnight stays.
• Make extended trips of up to four hours each way by car.

Requirements

• Ability and desire to work with staff across the entire Local Agency 131 county area.
• Ability and desire to work with a multi‑cultural population.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to travel and be prepared for several overnight stays within the LA 131 counties.
• Capable of making extended trips of up to four hours each way by car.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian / Licensed Dietitian credential.
