Responsibilities

• Provide essential knowledge about food and nutrition to enhance the health of families in our community as part of the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program.
• Develop dietary plans and deliver tailored nutritional counseling to participants.
• Empower families to make healthier food choices and foster overall wellness.
• Apply nutrition expertise to deliver lasting impact on the lives of those served.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the WIC program and its guidelines.
• Proficiency in utilizing the LA WIN system for efficient client management.
• Familiarity with wellness programs.
• Excellent communication skills to convey nutritional information and engage empathetically with families from diverse backgrounds.
• Problem-solving abilities to address individual dietary needs and concerns creatively.
