Wi-Fi Test and Automation Engineer

About the role

Strong experience (5-8+ years) in device testing, wireless networking or broadband hardware.

Responsibilities

• Perform endtoend user experience testing of gateways, WiFi extenders, and home networking devices, covering functional, performance, regression, and interoperability scenarios.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts (Java, cucumber) to increase coverage and efficiency.
• Validate WiFi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-toend.
• Work with protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP and other connectivity standards.
• Drive automation strategy, improve test processes, and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure highquality, stable releases.
• Conduct rootcause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and help shape test strategy at a product/feature level.
• Excellent communication, problemsolving, debugging, and documentation skills.
