Wholeschool Teacher Part-Time/ Full Time Early Childhood
About the Role
This position plays an important role in supporting our teaching team. The primary responsibilities include providing weekly classroom coverage for:
- Teacher breaks
- Teacher prep time
- One-on-one meetings
- Staff meetings and other scheduled coverage needs
- Office or Curriculum Support for Teachers
Because you'll be supporting classrooms throughout the program, you should be comfortable working with all age groups, from infants through preschoolers.
Schedule
Regular School Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:20 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 8:20 AM – 2:30 PM
Extended Care:
- Morning Care: 7:30 AM – 8:20 AM
- Aftercare (Monday–Thursday): 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
- Aftercare (Friday): 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
This position is primarily part-time, with flexible opportunities to pick up additional hours, including:
- Substitute hours when teachers are absent
- Morning care or aftercare programs
- Additional scheduled coverage as needed
For the right candidate, this role has the potential to grow into a larger position over time.

Requirements
As a licensed childcare facility, the following certifications are required upon hire. Most can be completed online, with the exception of CPR and First Aid, which require in-person training:
- Enrollment in the Oregon Criminal History Registry
- Food Handler's Card
- Infant/Toddler CPR & First Aid Certification
- Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect
- Introduction to Health and Safety
- Safe Sleep for Infants and Toddlers
- Prevention Is Better Than Treatment
- Foundations for Learning
