Early Childhood Education Teacher (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate parent-child interactive activities.
• Teach age-appropriate play activities on custom designed play equipment.
• Sing songs, engage in parachute play, and use bubbles.
• Create and follow lesson plans based on Gymboree curriculum.
• Maintain successful classes by interacting with new and current families.
• Answer and make calls, greet, and service customers.
• Utilize online class scheduling software to assist with class facilitation and account updates.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain site standards by performing tasks such as cleaning, stocking, pricing merchandise, and assisting with equipment changes.

Requirements

• Experience working with children newborn to 5 years old is preferred.
• Strong group leadership skills are essential.
• Beginner computer skills are required.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills are necessary.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. and move play equipment.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and hygiene.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate weekday, evening, and weekend hours, with at least one weekend day required.

Pay

$18-20 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Part-time available. Classes held weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Must be available to work at least one weekend day.
