Wholesale Operations Support Specialist ll

About the Role

As the Wholesale Operations Support Specialist II at Pacific Alaska Wholesale (PAW), the wholesale arm of the North West Company International (NWCI), your primary responsibility is to provide superior customer service for PAW/SPAN Alaska Sales. This role focuses on relationship building and enhancing customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and resolve customer issues, including shipment tracking, credits, and product availability
• Resolve questions and discrepancies relating to order processing efficiently
• Compile, sort, and verify data to be entered, review error reports, and enter corrections into the computer system
• File source documents after entry and keep records of work completed
• Accountable for all aspects of receiving, production of shipping documents, and invoicing
• Support the PAW/SPAN team as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three years office experience, preferably in a retail or wholesale grocery environment
• College or additional training preferred but not required

Skills

• Experience with inventory management and/or accounting preferred
• Proficient computer skills and comfortable learning other computer programs/systems
• Proficient in 10-key
• Must be detail and process oriented and possess critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of rural Alaska shipping methods and Alaska Native Corporations helpful
