Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include only sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Must preserve all substantive info. We need to parse the posting. Key sections: - About the role: description of iFixit, mission, role overview. We'll put in

. - Responsibilities: list of duties (bulleted). Use

  • . - Requirements/Qualifications: The posting has "Required- Experience & Qualifications:" and "Preferred- Experience ...". Could combine into Requirements and Preferred? The instruction: Use headings for Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can have a "Requirements" section for required qualifications, maybe a "Preferred Qualifications" as part of Requirements? Could also have a "Skills" section for skills like spreadsheet proficiency, communication, etc. But we need to avoid thin sections. Let's think. We have required: 4+ years experience, EDI ownership, managing new customer setups, retailer compliance, self-starter, designing/scaling processes, advanced spreadsheet proficiency, excellent written/verbal communication. Preferred: ERP systems experience, SPS Commerce or TrueCommerce, direct experience with certain retailers, experience with vendor/transportation portals, practical fluency with AI tools. We could have a "Requirements" section for required items, and a "Preferred Qualifications" maybe as part of Requirements or separate "Preferred" but not in list of allowed headings. Allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We could put required under Requirements, preferred under Qualifications, and skills under Skills (like spreadsheet proficiency, communication, AI tools). Or combine. We also have Benefits: described: "A career where you will be actively working to make the world better. A repairable laptop, and any software you need. Full benefits package. Employer-subsidized health insurance through Anthem Blue Cross including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Plus a stipend toward coverage for your dependent(s). 401k plan with 4% employer match. Flexible vacation time + paid holidays. Dependent Care FSA. Generous stipends towards repair & wellness. $400 towards a bike or alternative method of transportation. A sweet pair of headphones to get your head in the game. Team member discounts on parts and tools. Charitable contribution matching! We’ll 100% match your tax deductible contribution." Also schedule: "We are looking to fill a position effective immediately, working 40 hours per week. Must be available to work a hybrid schedule, maintaining in-office presence at our Chattanooga location on core days (T-Th) at minimum. Some work outside of normal business hours may be required. Occasional travel to other iFixit locations in San Luis Obispo, CA and/or Stuttgart, Germany may be required for training and development." Pay: Not mentioned. So we should NOT create Pay section. We also have location: Chattanooga, TN. Could be part of About the role or maybe a short p. We must not include boilerplate like Diversity Statement, EEO, etc. Remove those. Also remove "iFixit’s Expansion To Chattanooga" paragraph? That's substantive about location and office. Could be part of About the role or maybe a separate section? Not in allowed headings; we could incorporate into About the role as a paragraph. We must not include application instructions (cover letter, resume, etc.) Remove those. We must not include navigation/legal etc. Thus final HTML:

    About the role

iFixit is the nexus of a global community showing people how to fix the things they own. We believe that we can make the world better by empowering people to take control of the things they own. We are the world’s foremost experts in repair, and we’ve set the gold‑standard for online repair documentation. Every day we help thousands of people fix their stuff, and we’re on a mission to help millions more. iFixit is looking for a Wholesale Operations Manager to own the operational execution of our U.S. wholesale business. Our parts, tools, and repair kits reach customers through national and big‑box retailers alongside a broad base of distributors and B2B accounts. This role serves as the primary wholesale operational liaison between Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, and E‑Commerce. You will own our EDI program end to end, serve as the internal authority on retailer compliance requirements, defend the business against chargebacks and deductions, run the internal and external onboarding when we land a new retail partner, and execute the retail display, POP, and pallet programs across our wholesale accounts. Throughout, you will raise the operational standard and eliminate the root causes of recurring problems. The position is based in our Chattanooga, TN office (50,000 sq ft flagship location in the historic Onion Bottom neighborhood).

    Responsibilities

    • Own day‑to‑day wholesale operations and fulfillment, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered OTIF to retail partners.
    • Build and implement scalable operational workflows that support wholesale account expansion and revenue growth.
    • Own EDI end to end: new retailer connections, mapping, testing, go‑live sign‑off, and daily resolution of transaction errors.
    • Stay ahead of each retailer's EDI requirements and pending changes, including new or revised transaction sets, spec updates, and mandated migration deadlines.
    • Serve as the primary contact with our EDI provider and retailer EDI teams, driving issues to resolution rather than waiting on open tickets.
    • Maintain EDI‑dependent item, customer, and fulfillment data in our ERP system so transmissions are correct at the source.
    • Serve as the company expert on each retailer's shipping, marking, labeling, and routing standards, and translate them into clear, current, actionable direction for the Fulfillment team.
    • Monitor OTIF, ASN accuracy, and scorecard performance against each retailer's thresholds, and correct root causes before penalties accrue.
    • Lead the internal and external onboarding for new wholesale retailers: vendor system setup, item setup sheets, imagery and content, compliance training for Fulfillment, EDI setup, and troubleshooting through go‑live.
    • Manage all active retailer vendor portals, including documentation, scorecards, and support cases, and own the accuracy of all product data and content in every portal.
    • Maintain accurate wholesale cost and price files in our ERP system, EDI catalogs, and retailer portals.
    • Serve as the direct operational point of contact for wholesale customers, reps, and distributors.
    • Support the Sales team with samples, tradeshow and event logistics, POP and display programs, and operational analysis of sales programs.
    • Own the operational reporting that the business runs on, including order status, fulfillment and scorecard performance, deduction activity, and retailer performance. Use it to surface problems before they become escalations.
    • Analyze sales trends, product performance, and accounts to identify operational opportunities and risks.
    • Support accurate forecasting and demand planning in partnership with Sales and Purchasing.
    • Improve reporting automation and data flows to support decision‑making across the wholesale organization.
    • Identify process gaps and deliver improvements independently, applying AI tools to real operational workflows, and document processes as you build them.

    Requirements

    • 4+ years in wholesale operations, CPG retail operations, or similar experience, including direct work with national or big‑box retail accounts.
    • EDI ownership.
    • Experience managing new customer setups and retailer compliance.
    • Demonstrated track record as a self‑starter: owning outcomes without supervision and closing loops without reminders.
    • Track record of designing and scaling operational processes that drive efficiency and revenue growth.
    • Advanced spreadsheet proficiency.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a consistent record of fast, clear responsiveness to internal teams, retailers, and vendors.

    Qualifications

    • Experience with ERP systems.
    • SPS Commerce or TrueCommerce experience.
    • Direct experience with Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, or similar retailers.
    • Experience with retailer vendor and transportation portals.
    • Practical fluency with AI tools applied to real operational workflows.

    Skills

    • Advanced spreadsheet proficiency (covered also in Requirements).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to apply AI tools to operational workflows.
But we have duplication: spreadsheet proficiency and communication appear both in Requirements and Skills. Might be okay but could be considered thin. Perhaps better to not have Skills section if it's just repeating. Instead we could incorporate skills into Requirements and Qualifications. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we drop Skills section entirely, and keep Requirements and Qualifications. Or we could combine Requirements and Qualifications into one Requirements section, but we have allowed headings for both. However we can decide to have only Requirements (including both required and preferred) and Qualifications maybe not needed. But we need to include all substantive info; we can put preferred under Qualifications as separate heading. Thus we have About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Schedule. No Skills, no Pay. Now Benefits section: we need to list benefits as
    • . Ensure we capture all. Benefits list: - A career where you will be actively working to make the world better. - A repairable laptop, and any software you need. - Full benefits package. - Employer-subsidized health insurance through Anthem Blue Cross including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. - Plus a stipend toward coverage for your dependent(s). - 401k plan with 4% employer match. - Flexible vacation time + paid holidays. - Dependent Care FSA. - Generous stipends towards repair & wellness. - $400 towards a bike or alternative method of transportation. - A sweet pair of headphones to get your head in the game. - Team member discounts on parts and tools. - Charitable contribution matching! We’ll 100% match your tax deductible contribution. We should keep as list items. Schedule section: details. - Position effective immediately, working 40 hours per week. - Must be available to work a hybrid schedule, maintaining in-office presence at our Chattanooga location on core days (T‑Th) at minimum. - Some work outside of normal business hours may be required. - Occasional travel to other iFixit locations in San Luis Obispo, CA and/or Stuttgart, Germany may be required for training and development. We'll put as
      • . Now ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like Diversity Statement, EEO, application instructions, etc. Check that we didn't inadvertently include lines like "iFixit is an awesome place to work." That's part of benefits? Actually that line appears before benefits list: "iFixit is an awesome place to work. Here are some of our perks:" We can incorporate that as a sentence in Benefits section intro maybe as a

before list. But we can just start with

iFixit is an awesome place to work. Here are some of our perks: then list. But we need to avoid filler. That's substantive. Thus Benefits section:

        Benefits

iFixit is an awesome place to work. Here are some of our perks
