Wholesale Customer Service Representative
Place Showroom, a wholesale contemporary women's apparel showroom, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to serve as the key liaison between our brands and the Place team in all aspects of operations and customer service.
About the role
This position plays an integral part in coordinating, streamlining, and communicating information to and from the brands, such as order submission, updates, and shipment status. The Customer Service Representative proactively identifies opportunities for enhancing business and operational efficiency while ensuring accuracy and consistency across the organization. The role is primarily focused on systems and processes while providing excellent customer service to our brands.
Responsibilities
- Brand Representative: Serve as the primary brand contact for daily operational needs, including sending and confirming orders, enforcing brand policies, supporting customer concerns and returns, assisting with the opening and close of a sell, tracking changes or updates to purchase orders, and knowing the status of all orders.
- Internal Order Communication: Streamline and facilitate communication between brands and Place teams for operational items. Ensure internal teams are aware of changes to orders and order status (e.g., extensions, drops) and support gathering and condensing information to send back to brands.
- Reporting & System Integrity: Maintain complete order accuracy in Place systems, ensuring coding, invoices, and other details are updated as needed. Follow up on missing information from Place or the brand and hold brands accountable for providing all required details and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with and support other Place departments, such as finance (invoices and commissions) and merchandising (seasonal launches).
- Brand Support: Ensure effective communication and partnership with brands through consistent check-ins, process adherence, feedback, training, and support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Very proficient in Excel; LOOKUPs and pivot tables preferred.
- Ability to work at a very high pace with strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently with exceptional customer service skills.

Pay
$27–30/hour, commensurate with experience.
