About the Role
The CMA/LPN plays a crucial role in making a positive first impression with patients and their families. They assist the physician in various tasks and educate patients on their medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Greets patients courteously and assists them to the examination room
- Records vital signs, chief complaints, medications, and allergies
- Assists with examinations, blood draws, lab specimens, injections, and minor surgical procedures
- Educates patients and family members on their medical conditions
- Orders diagnostic tests and makes referrals
- Communicates test results and performs quality control measures on medical equipment
- Maintains inventory and orders supplies
- Schedules patients and handles clerical duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Patient registration knowledge/experience with EPIC
- Medical office experience
- Certified or registered Medical Assistant certification
- Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Computer experience

Employment Status
FULL TIME, Piqua/Sidney locations, and other WHMG Medical Office locations
Working Hours
40 hours a week - (80 hours per pay period), 1st shift - NO weekends, NO holidays, Monday - Friday - 6:45am - 5:30pm (8-10 hour shifts)
