About the Role

The Driver (Technical) – Reman provides pick‑up and delivery services for automotive wheels to existing Dent Wizard customers, safely jacks up cars (training provided) to remove and install wheels according to manufacturers’ requirements and torque specifications. The position reports to the Manager – Reman Operations and is classified as non‑exempt.

Responsibilities

• Transport customer wheels safely and efficiently between various locations and the remanufacturing shop.
• Jack up cars safely (training provided) to remove and install wheels per manufacturers’ requirements and torque specifications.
• Load and unload wheels in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate the Dent Wizard vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Obtain correct paperwork information and handle customer payment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Two plus years’ experience as a transport driver preferred, with some minor automotive experience.
• Knowledge of unibody automobile and EV jacking and lift points preferred.
• Ability to navigate efficiently.
• Great interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Physical Job Requirements

• Ability to assist/move up to 80 lb.
• Regularly required to stand and walk.
• Work in moderate noise levels and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Visual ability to identify proper lifting points, depth perception for jack/stand placement, and fine motor skills for loosening/tightening lug nuts, aligning wheel bolts, and operating power tools (impact wrench, torque wrench).

Compensation

Starting compensation is expected to be $20.00–$22.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
