(WFO) Receiving Specialist Full Time

About the role

The Receiving Specialist at Ollie’s plays a crucial part in ensuring that merchandise arrives efficiently and is ready for sale. This position involves assisting with the unloading of deliveries, organizing the received goods, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the store.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the unloading and moving of freight from delivery trucks to the sales floor.
• Support the pricing, merchandising, and recovery of products within the store.
• Train new Associates and communicate any receiving needs or issues to Team Leaders.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player, interacting well with both customers and colleagues.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently, and stand for extended periods.
