Responsibilities

Responsible for providing respiratory and neuro diagnostic services in a hospital setting. Duties may include:

• Adult Critical Care
• Emergency Department
• Extubation
• Intubation Assist
• Nasal airway placement
• Nasal airway suctioning
• Oral airway placement
• Oral/nasal Suctioning
• Sputum specimen collection
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), T-piece, Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Pediatrics, Bubble CPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Level II Nursery exp

Must hold:

• BLS
• RRT
• CRT
