Responsibilities
- Performing all aspects of pulmonary function and related testing.
- Demonstrates knowledge of pulmonary anatomy, physiology and pathology.
- Performs routine and specialty pulmonary function testing, stress testing, and metabolic assessment testing.
- Performs complete and accurate patient assessment or reassessment.
- Maintains and orders supplies necessary for pulmonary function lab.
- Aid with patient flow of clinic.
- Ensure provider’s orders are completed.
- Ensure medications are safely stored in an appropriate area as designated by law, and that medication expiration dates are evaluated on a monthly schedule.
- Accurately record ICD-9 and CPT-4 codes.
- Support the durable medical equipment needs of patients.
- Respond to equipment issues for patients at ambulatory appointments.
Requirements
- Associates or higher degree in Respiratory Care required.
- Current licensure in Florida as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. RRT required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS required.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage as needed.
